Gribedyr

Grybedyr is knife commissioned by a viking woman, the blade is forgewelded from wrought iron and steel in sandwich construction. Handle is elk ( moose ) antler this time and there is horn bolster. |Ornamentation is executed in Oseberg style  - with gripping beasts - Grybedyrs - hence the name. The style is early so it fits 9th century. Sheath is leather, with brass mounts in Gotland style
